How to apply for HITWH
※ Chinese Language Student Admissions
I. Program Introduction
Chinese training program in HIT (Weihai) consists of beginner level,
intermediate level and advanced level (each) with listening, speaking, reading, writing and cultural experience courses. Students can obtain a certificate of completion in the corresponding level by completing one semester and passing the exam.
II. Eligibility and Submission
Anyone who abides by the Chinese laws and school regulations, has a high
school degree, is in good health and can provide a complete application, is eligible to apply.
Required documents
1. Application form & self-introduction essay ( download from the official
website)
2. Copy of passport
3. One passport photo
4. Bank statement of 3,000$ (frozen for 1 month)
5. Copy of personal accident insurance covering the period in China (can
be submitted after arrival)
6. Health certificate (organized by HIT after arrival)
※ Undergraduate Admissions
I. Eligibility and Submission
Be in good health | Valid passport | High school graduate
Required Documents
① Application form & self-introduction essay (download from the official
website)
② High school graduation certificate, or or expected graduation certificate
for graduating students (original copy or certified copy in Chinese or
English)
③ Curriculum at high-school level and official transcripts (original copy or
certified copy in Chinese or English)
④ Certificate on Level 4 or above in the HSK or pass Chinese language test
in HIT
⑤ Copy of passport (valid regular passport) and three passport-sized
photos
⑥ Bank statement of 10,000$ (frozen for 3 months)
⑦ Copy of personal accident insurance covering the period in China (can be
submitted after arrival)
⑧ Health certificate (organized by HIT after arrival)
※Graduate Admissions
I. Eligibility and Submission
Be in good health | Valid passport | A bachelor’s degree
Required Documents
① Application form & self-introduction (download from the official website)
② Bachelor graduation certificate, or expected graduation certificate for
graduating students
(original copy or certified copy in Chinese or English)
③ Curriculum at undergraduate level and official transcript
(original copy or certified copy in Chinese or English)
④ Recommendation letters by two professors
⑤ Study plan in China (at least 800 words) written in Chinese or English
(download from the official website)
⑥ Copy of passport (valid regular passport) and three passport-sized photos
⑦ Certificate on Level 4 or above in the HSK or pass Chinese language test in
HIT
⑧ Bank statement of 10,000$ (frozen for 3 months)
⑨ Copy of personal accident insurance covering the period in China (can be
submitted after arrival)
⑩ Health certificate (organized by HIT after your arrival)
